Racial Abilities (Amazon)

Special Abilities

  • Divine Bond: 3 times per day, Lancer may enhance a weapon she holds with divine power as a standard action; this divine power lasts for 13 minutes. She may grant her weapon up to +3 in enhancement bonuses, which may include axiomatic, brilliant energy, defending, disruption, flaming, flaming burst, holy, keen, merciful, and speed. This does not stack with existing properties on her weapon.
  • Divine Protection: Thanks to her granted divine powers, Lancer has immunity to all diseases, including supernatural and magical diseases, applies her charisma bonus to all of her saving throws. In addition, Lancer is immune to fear and charm effects, and grants a +4 morale bonus to saves against these effects to allies within 10 feet of her while she is conscious. All of Lancer's attacks, and attacks made by allies within 10 feet of her, count as good-aligned for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction.
  • Lay on Hands: 9/day, cure 7d6 HP to a touched creature.
  • Slayer of Evil: Lancer may use detect evil at-will, as the spell. Five times per day as a swift action, she may declare an evil creature she can see as the target of her smite. Against this target, Lancer applies her charisma bonus to attack rolls, her paladin level to damage rolls, and if the target is an evil outsider, evil dragon, or any undead, the damage bonus is doubled. Lancer ignores any damage reduction the target of her smite possesses. Lancer also gains a deflection bonus to her armor class equal to her charisma modifier against the target of her smite.

Cherry blossoms swirl around the cherry pink blade of this naginata. She claimed this naginata after her family blade broke while in the underworld.

  • Slicer of the Foul; +2 willing elysian bronze katana
This large katana is specifically designed to cut down youkai.
Damage: 2d6+2 slashing; Critical: 18-20/x2
Special: +4 to attack rolls to confirm critical strikes. This weapon deals +1 damage to magical beasts and monstrous humanoids, and after the first successful attack against such a creature, gains a +1 bonus to attack rolls against other creatures of that same species.
  • Great Yumi; hurtful spellforged darkwood composite longbow +5
This massive bow is of a strange wood, and was given as a prize in a contest with oni.
Damage: 2d6+6 piercing; Critical: 20/x3
Sacred Light: Three gems are inlaid upon the great yumi's grip, filled with oni power. Lancer may, as a swift action, release the stored energy within one of these gems, causing three orbs of light to float around her. Once per round as a free action, even when it is not her turn, she may release one of these orbs, turning into a ray of searing light with a range of 200 feet that deals 5d8+5 points of radiant damage, using her base attack bonus and charisma modifier as her attack bonus for a ranged touch attack with a +5 enhancement bonus.
  • Hunter's Quiver
The true prize granted when she earned the great yumi, this quiver's special ability came in handy in defeating a youkai that would change into a new creature each time it was killed.
Up to five times a day, you may select a hunting target (drawn from the list of the ranger's favored enemies) as a swift action, the next 10 arrows drawn from the quiver gain a +3 ehancement bonus to attack rolls and deal +2d6+1 points of damage to hunting targets. The hunting target remains selected for 10 minutes, while the arrows remain enchanted for up to 3 rounds after drawn.
